”Miracles happen every day. Not just in remote country villages or at holy sites halfway across the globe, but here, in our own lives.”
~ Deepak Chopra
Let me share with you one of my favourite true stories.
In the summer of 1972 a young bride was visiting her in laws who lived in a cottage near an idyllic lake surrounded by woods.
One day, her husband took her rowing in the lake.Swishing her fingers in the cool water as she sat in the boat, she experienced absolute bliss.
She was enjoying herself thoroughly, until she realized to her absolute horror that her diamond engagement ring was no longer on her finger.
Her loving husband, hoping to find it for her, dove into the calm, crystalline shallow lake over and over, all day long, searching the bottom, for the precious ring.At nightfall,he finally gave up.
The young lady never replaced the missing ring.No diamond, no matter how priceless could ever replace it.
Fast forward, twenty years.
The husband had inherited the cottage from his parents. In 1992, the couple then middle aged, visited the cottage with their teenage children. The children were taken rowing by the excited father, while his wife stayed back to unpack.
The youngest took his fishing rod along and a few hours later they returned home with a great catch …a huge trout weighing seven pounds !
It turned out to be the biggest, the best they had ever caught.
Truly, an awesome catch…because in its belly was the diamond ring !!!
“The most incredible thing about miracles is that they happen.”
~G.K. Chesterton
“Miracles never cease to amaze me. I expect them, but their consistent arrival is always delightful to experience.” ~Mark Victor Hansen
“If existence was ever a miracle, then existence is always a miracle.” ~Andrew Schwartz
“Miracles: You do not have to look for them. They are there, 24-7, beaming like radio waves all around you. Put up the antenna, turn up the volume - snap... crackle... this just in, every person you talk to is a chance to change the world.” – Hugh Elliott
P.S: If you are open to them……if you believe in them; you see and experience them all the time.
Your faith in them makes the difference.
Your letting go…allows them to materialize.
May your life be filled with miracles great and small.
Namaste,
Bhagya
