The Pear Tree
There was a philosopher who had four sons, and he wanted them to learn not to be too hasty in passing judgement or in forming opinions.
So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest one in the fall.
On their return home, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
Disagreeing, the third son said it was laden with blossoms and smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful. It was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them saying the tree was ripe and full of fruits, life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons : “You are all correct, because you had each seen but only one season in the tree’s life. One of you saw it in winter, one in spring, one is summer and one in the fall.”
“But remember this: You cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season. It can be measured only when all the seasons are over. If you give up when it’s winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall. Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. Don’t judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come sooner or later.”

Learning to rise above judgement is one of the biggest and perhaps one of the most difficult of all life's lessons.
It does not mean turning a blind eye to reality.It means choosing to live in a state of awareness....where one sees and accepts everything but judges nothing.
The sooner we choose to learn it the better our lives get.
Unconditional love and acceptance leave no room for judgement.
