This poem by Walt Whitman is one of my all time favourites.
I am extremely grateful I came across his collection of poems 'Leaves Of Grass' three decades ago.
I am also very grateful to Forkparty(www.forkparty.com) for these awesome pictures.
We are supposed to be the best of all God's creations......yet there is so much we need to learn about life and living from animals.................
things that we seem to have forgotten.
If one is willing to learn....lessons come from EVERYWHERE and animals are such amazing teachers.
Let's choose to make it a day of getting back to basics:)
