“There is no single effort more radical in its potential for saving the world than a transformation of the way we raise our children.”
-- Marianne Williamson

I Cannot Go To School Today!

"I cannot go to school today"
Said little Peggy Ann McKay.
"I have the measles and the mumps,
A gash, a rash and purple bumps.

My mouth is wet, my throat is dry.
I'm going blind in my right eye.
My tonsils are as big as rocks,
I've counted sixteen chicken pox.

And there's one more - that's seventeen,
And don't you think my face looks green?
My leg is cut, my eyes are blue,
It might be the instamatic flu.

I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,
I'm sure that my left leg is broke.
My hip hurts when I move my chin,
My belly button's caving in.

My back is wrenched, my ankle's sprained,
My 'pendix pains each time it rains.
My toes are cold, my toes are numb,

I have a sliver in my thumb.

My neck is stiff, my voice is weak,
I hardly whisper when I speak.
My tongue is filling up my mouth,

I think my hair is falling out.

My elbow's bent, my spine ain't straight,
My temperature is one-o-eight.
My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,

There's a hole inside my ear.

I have a hangnail, and my heart is ...
What? What's that? What's that you say?
You say today is .............. Saturday?

G'bye, I'm going out to play!"

"No one has yet fully realized the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. The effort of every true education should be to unlock that treasure."~Emma Goldman

"Children are great imitators. So give them something great to imitate.

P.S: Where do children learn to make excuses??Why do they need to make excuses???

Most questions related to children……lead us to adults.

So what can we be and do different today to create a new reality;where children are allowed and encouraged to fearlessly be themselves ?????????????

Thank you for visiting the TREASURE TROVE today.

“Gratitude, like faith, is a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it grows, and the more power you have to use it on your behalf. If you do not practice gratefulness, its benefaction will go unnoticed, and your capacity to draw on its gifts will be diminished. To be grateful is to find blessings in everything, This is the most powerful attitude to adopt, for there are blessings in everything.”
~Alan Cohen

“To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant, to enact gratitude is generous and noble, but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven. ”
~Johannes A. Gaertner

“Gratitude helps you to grow and expand; gratitude brings joy and laughter into your life and into the lives of all those around you.”
~Eileen Caddy

“When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.”
~ Willie Nelson

“Feeling grateful or appreciative of someone or something in your life actually attracts more of the things that you appreciate and value into your life.”
~ Dr.Christiane Northrup

“There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.”

~ Author Unknown

P.S: The day that begins with a sense of gratitude always ends with more to be grateful for.

I am very grateful to you for making time to visit the TREASURE TROVE today.

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”

~ Leo Buscaglia

Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia
once talked about a contest he was asked to judge.
The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a 4-year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly man who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his mother asked what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry".

“The most interesting information comes from children, for they tell all they know and then stop.”

~ Mark Twain

"A person's a person,

no matter how small."

~Dr. Seuss

P.S: Children come into the world knowing everything.

Over a period of time they are entrained into this reality and end up believing they do not know anything.

They are taught to mould themselves to fit this reality and the price of not doing so is enormous.

What if, children are allowed/encouraged to believe the truth of who they really are ?

What if, they always remember that as Infinite beings…… they know everything that would enable them to live empowered lives ????

What would it take for us to go back to being childlike in our approach to life ???

What would our lives be like if there were to be more joy and ease and less stress?

Would you be willing to join me in exploring this amazing possibility?

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.”

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

"I Can Make It Happen"

History abounds with tales of experts who were convinced that the ideas, plans, and projects of others could never be achieved.

However, accomplishment came to those who said, "I can make it happen."

The Italian sculptor Agostino d'Antonio worked diligently on a large piece of marble. Unable to produce his desired masterpiece, he lamented, "I can do nothing with it."

Other sculptors also worked this difficult piece of marble, but to no avail.

Michelangelo discovered the stone and visualized the possibilities in it.

His "I-can-make-it-happen" attitude resulted in one of the world's masterpieces - David.

“Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.” ~ Bradley Whitford

“There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there's only scarcity of resolve to make it happen.” ~ Wayne Dyer

P.S:

Are we ready to create something new…

something different….

something awesome that we’ve always intended to create “someday” ?

What if, today is the day ????

"Giving is so often thought of in terms of the things we give, but our greatest giving is of our time, and kindness, and even comfort for those who need it. We look on these gifts as unimportant - until we need them."

- Joyce Sequichie Hifler

At school we were told that birds of the same feather flock together….

What if that is not really so ??????

There is enough for all……if one is willing to share.

What if, the animals and birds have a greater awareness of oneness than we do ??

There is so much evidence of sharing and caring in the animal world.

Photo: A lion and tiger and bear!

As cubs a lion, a tiger, and a bear had been owned by a drug dealer who did not properly care for them. The bear’s harness grew into his skin because the owner did not alter it as the animal grew. They had been abused and neglected early in life, but were finally rescued. The bear's harness was surgically removed.

After they had been taken in by an animal sanctuary in Georgia, the staff tried to separate them due to obvious concerns that the three large predators would fight. During the trial of separation, the animals were uncooperative and behaved poorly. Once reunited, the three calmed down and were well behaved.

Twelve years later, the three friends spend their days playing, cuddling, and eating together. There are no plans to separate these lifelong friends.
Keep sharing Facts You Never Knew
Visit us: www.factslist.net

Unlikely friends ???? Truth is they are inseparable.

Photo: After losing his parents, this 3 year old orangutan was so depressed he wouldn’t eat and didn’t respond to any medical treatments. The veteranarians thought he would surely die from sadness. The zoo keepers found an old sick dog on the grounds in the park at the zoo where the orangutan lived and took the dog to the animal treatment center. The dog arrived at the same time the orangutan was there being treated. The 2 lost souls met and have been inseparable ever since.
visit our blog--> http://we-earth.blogspot.in/
it's INature

Good Samaritans abound in the animal world……

P.S: A picture is worth a thousand words.

Here are many such amazing pictures that show animals being more human than most humans.

In our quest /greed for more and more things…. we have lost something precious/invaluable.

What would it take for us to get back to being human ?

What would it take for us to function from total AWARENESS….

CONSCIOUSNESS…

ONENESS???
