“Don’t rely on someone else for your happiness and self-worth. Only you can be responsible for that. If you can’t love and respect yourself – no one else will be able to make that happen. Accept who you are – completely; the good and the bad – and make changes as YOU see fit – not because you think someone else wants you to be different.”
– Stacey Charter

“The greatest thing in the world is to know how to belong to oneself.”

― Michel de Montaigne

“As long as you look for someone else to validate who you are by seeking their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are - what others say is irrelevant.”

― Nic Sheff

“Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt

How to deal with sad news or events. For example, the world we live in is so violent. There are so many disturbing incidences such as war, violence towards women and children.
Please post a blog adddressing these issues. How to overcome the overwhelming sad situations in this world.
    Thank you.
