“There is a light in this world, a healing spirit more powerful than any darkness we may encounter. It will emerge through the lives of ordinary people who hear a call and answer in extraordinary ways.”
~Mother Teresa
We can no longer blindly blame the ecological damage and environmental destruction on 'corporate greed' for after all, without our personal insatiable appetites and innate desire for a lazy lifestyle, corporate greed could never exist. In order to reconnect with and help our Mother Earth heal, we must both collectively and individually take a stand, we must refuse to feed the corporate dragon.
It is not necessary to be of Native American or other indigenous peoples blood to be a steward of the land, of this Earth. As human beings, we are all, everyone the world over, here with the responsibility to nurture and protect her, to cherish.., to help repair the damage we have caused her. Not only do we need her but our children and our children's children need her. We all need this tiny bright orb to be healthy as she and we hurtle through time and space together.
~Roger Anthony Briggs~
“To make a difference is not a matter of accident…
People CHOOSE to make a difference.”
~Maya Angelou
“Do more than belong: participate. Do more than care: help. Do more than believe: practice. Do more than be fair: be kind. Do more than forgive: forget. Do more than dream: work.”
― William Arthur Ward
“I have one life and one chance to make it count for something... My faith demands that I do whatever I can, wherever I am, whenever I can, for as long as I can with whatever I have to try to make a difference.”― Jimmy Carter
As the Native American proverb goes:
‘We do not inherit the land from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.’
P.S: This is an SOS call for contributing energy to the Earth…and help restore her to the healthy/pristine state she once used to be.
Even if we can sit quietly for a few minutes each day and send loving energy to the planet it with help.
It is astonishing how mindlessly we continue to plunder the earth…….
Isn’t NOW the time to change the way we choose to live on this planet??????
Thank you for visiting the TREASURE TROVE today.
Namaste,
Bhagya
